Good Enough for Congress

Finally, a good idea has emerged from Washington, D.C.

If they really want to convince us that this is a good health care plan, let's require our legislators to enjoy the same benefits as we do.

Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana has sponsored a bill that will allow our representatives to forgo their participation in the much-admired Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. Instead, those Congressmen who vote for the health care bill will be covered under the same health insurance as the masses.

This will go a long way toward persuading us, don't you think?
