Christmas Recap

Time has been flying away from us--here we are in mid-January already! I've really missed the blog, but had a great holiday season. We had both fun family Christmas times and quiet New Year times, so it was a perfect mix. DH played his flute at lots of churches, and we went to visit a local community center with a couple of musician friends, where the group played holiday and classical music for a big group of Seasoned Citizens while StickyBun and the Fred danced around.

Speaking of the munchkins, Santa brought them both some nice rides, and if you click on the link in the last paragraph of this blog, you can see them "driving." ("Just don't let them onto Highway 80, Grandpa.")

Santa brought us some very nice things, also, including a sushi-making kit and a rice cooker/vegetable steamer. DH thinks the steamer looks funny when you look at it in the right light.

DH: Don't you think it looks like he's sticking his tongue out at you?
TS: I think you're very insecure.

Anyway, we're awfully thankful to be able to spend time visiting with the fam, and I hope you all enjoyed warm and memorable holidays, too. To see some brief video clips and a few of our favorite photos, visit my Smugmug Christmas 2008 gallery; I hope to have a second little video posted in the next day or two.

Hi, Jihye!

I'll go ahead and get those posted. The ones I took with the Fuji weren't too great, but I got some nice ones of you here at the house.
